Cove — 16-bit Fantasy Console (2025–)

Personal project

Built a complete 16-bit computer system from scratch — CPU, assembler, emulator, debugger, graphics and audio engine — all in Rust. 317+ tests, 29 e2e tests, 2100+ pages of documentation.

  • CPU: 30 opcodes, mixed 16/32-bit encoding, memory-mapped I/O and interrupts
  • Toolchain: Multi-pass assembler, SDL2 emulator with REPL debugger
  • Platform: 128Ă—128 display, 4 audio channels, 21 syscalls, .cove.png cartridge format

Energiöversikt — Swedish Energy Dashboard (2026)

Personal project

A real-time dashboard aggregating electricity prices, weather, solar data, and EV charging optimisation from multiple APIs. Live at spotcharge.jimmy-b.se.

  • Backend: Python FastAPI with async data fetching and SQLite caching
  • Frontend: Vue 3 + TypeScript with MapLibre GL JS and Chart.js
  • EV optimizer: Scores each slot by spot price, solar generation, grid tariff, and tax
